Judy's note reminded me that I haven't posted any photos for a long time, because I use a Kindle for everything: photos, email, browsing, games, amazon, imdb, etc.  It doesn't "allow" me to select a photo and share it with you on this site.  So, my question is:  how do you all attach your photos here?  Do you use your phone?  I used to use a 35mm camera, save photos on my home computer, then "select" the one I want  and attach it here.  I know that is dinosaur technology, and it has to be easier now.  I can post to facebook without any problems at all directly from my Kindle.  I see the little photo icon on the top row here, but it doesn't work with my Kindle.  Does it work with a phone?   Would someone give me a step by step list of how you post photos here?

Thanks

I work on a computer instead of a tablet. However, I just command/control C for copy, and command/ctrl V for paste. (Command on mac, ctrl if you have to use PC)

I am using a desktop computer - not even a laptop.  To use a photo here, I have to save it to my hard drive, and then open a new message here, or reply to an existing one, and select the photo icon at the top.  There are two options - using a photo from "this" computer, or using one from the web.  I have never used the web option before; I just always select "From my computer" and navigate to where I saved it.  Highlight the photo file you want and click on the "Open" button, and it should upload into your message.

I do not know anything about using a Kindle for photos.  Is it possible to drag and drop a photo on Kindle to a message here?

I use your same technique to post photos from my iPad.I just don’t know how to make them smaller. This was Owens tent.

Sue do try it with your phone.

I hardly ever need to re-size a photo to use it here.  A photo I want to use can look too large to me, but it comes out a "regular" size when I upload it here.

I also use the Snipping Tool a lot for photos that I can't save or download for some reason.  Then I save the snipped image to my hard drive as a JPG and use it like any other JPG.  (Many times on Facebook or other sites, you can't just right click and "save image as" a JPG; that's when I go to the Snipping Tool.)

JDO, your method is the same as what I do, but I can only use a camera for the initial photo.  Seems there should be an easier way.  I'm just gonna have to work on it. Thanks!

I will do that.   I don't have a spiffy new phone, so it may take some time. Thank you for your encouragement!

Sue,

If I may ask...  what Kindle do you use?  When we travel by plane I hate to have to ask DH to carry m laptop along with his.  His backpack gets so heavy!
Thanks!
Judy
