Red is the least stable when dyeing fabric, but the quickest to stain something in the kitchen? For instance, rinse off a spaghetti plate and the water lands on a white plastic bowl, and it's magically reddish. :( Grr!

tomatoes are amazingly good at staining. most of my plasticware is that orange thanks to left over spagetti stuff. I've started putting anything with tomatoes in a glass storage instead.

Yes, unfortunately. It just..."wonders me" as I read in some book (Anne of Green Gables?)
