Looks like a fairly simple pattern. 3 HST and 6 squares, with alternate block of background fabric. :D You can do this!

Thanks! I like having a pattern to tell me amounts of fabric (even though I'm using stash). I have a batik layer cake and background and extra bits I can toss in. This will be a nice break from all the Civil War prints I've been using lately.

Yes, I think it would be fairly easy to piece, especially if you use the technique for making 8 HSTs at a time. And then it's just making 9-patches and alternating them with solid background squares. The only thing easier would be just regular 9-patches. A perfect project for chain-piecing while listening to a podcast or something.
