thanks Shelley. It makes me smile every time I walk past it. Now I need to figure out the next hand work project. I purchased a little Christmas tree embroidery project at a show recently, I may do that one next. I am still looking for a good background for the Thimble blossoms pattern. I want to find a white with tiny black specs (almost flea size) but everything I've found the dots are large and I think they'll distract from the pattern. I might have to come up with something else, but I definitely don't want cream. And I don't think I want the usual white on white as needling that stuff isn't particularly fun. Maybe a white shirting fabric with a light shadowy plaid.

Dee came across something that might work for your black on white. I'm sorry I don't know how to copy n paste on the iPad.

thanks again Jo. 5 yards at $7 a yard is on it's way. Yipee, a new project! And that price was amazing - they were having a "white" sale.

I had read your post about wanting black fleas on white, so when I was browsing and saw that fabric I thought to share it with you.
