I'll be waiting for your registration.  I know you have been busy.  We aren't are yet if there will be a waiting list.  We should know by our next Zoom meeting.  We have some more measuring to do.   Hard to find a place with rooms under $200+ per day.

The attendee list has been posted.  We don't have a waiting list this year.  I'm glad about that.  Some of you will notice that I'm not on the Hostess List this year.  Because Southwest has discontinued the direct flight from Wichita to Phoenix.  I'm nervous about having to change planes and the chance of canceled flights because of the weather and my mobility problems.  When Cathy came to take care of me after my kidney surgery it took her 8 hours coming and going.  If the direct flight opens up again, of course, I would come.

OH NO!!!!!!  This is *awful* news.   The Retreat isn't going to be the same without you.

I do understand your apprehensions and concerns .. but ... DOGGONE IT!   This is awful news.  :-(

Carolyn I sure hope you figure out a way to come to the retreat. 

Whoo hoo, looks like a rowdy bunch!  Glad Misha decided to come and Dee is making the trip.

Sorry you will not be there, Carolyn, but I understand your reluctance to fly all day to get there.  I got non stop flights, some of the ones available were 6-7 hours going thru Denver or Houston. 

I come in really early Thursday, so will be available for shlepping stuff for the hostess!  I know, I know, I will send you flight infor-LOL!!

Because of the weather in Denver during February, there is too much of a chance to spend the night in the airport terminal.  Years ago I missed a connection because we had to make an unscheduled stop to wait out a storm over Houston.  Since the airport was closed and no incoming or outgoing flights I knew hotels in Houston would be completely full.  I made a reservation while we were waiting out the storm and was lucky to get one and didn't have to sleep on the terminal floor for the next days' flight.   I'm a lot older now and don't want to do that again.  I'm lucky that everything I do as Hostess is done here at home on my computer before I even get to retreat.  Thanks for your offer to help out we really appreciate all the help we can get.

Oh, Carolyn:   We all will be keeping our fingers crossed that you will be able to join us.  I remember that when my parents lived in Great Bend and I lived in Houston, Wichita was not an easy place to get in and out of, even when the weather was good!

Carolyn, I'm praying you'll be able to come. I recommend calling the airline...they can give you door to door service when you switch planes. My friend Vivian does, and they pick her up at the door to one plane in a w/c, and take her directly to the connecting flight, no muss, no fuss! :D It's great! She uses American Airlines.

Hahah! Did you ever have teachers who called everything from back to front? I remember I did. Unfortunately, I was always in the middle no matter what. I went from initials ML to MH. Hahah! :D
