I remember her and Linda going around collecting crumbs. They said if you could sew a seam on each side they were good. Sharon made me look at my scraps in a whole different light.

Hmmmm. We did not talk about the center being multi-colored. That might add additional interest in the block. Why not!

Is the completed size of that block really just 2 inches. It's a great block.

I’m going to make it with 2 colors and see how it looks. Marcia’s have 2 don’t they? Cathy those are pretty!

I put another lotto block together today. I had a little time while DH was out doing his thing. I'll post a picture when I finish another. I've also got a couple ideas for the challenge. I have to think more on that.

I've seen those anvil blocks before and they do make up a great quilt. I assume we can use prints too if they read southwest?

Are we doing them all one colored? Or can we use more than one color per block?
Good question also!

oh, not that small. The center square is 2", the overall block is 4.25 plus seam allowance - weird dimension because the block is essentially on point within itself. It's weird. It you look at it the "flying geese" portion is to the side & the center square is on point. It gives a different look to the block, makes the star kind of more pointy looking.
