Oh wow you guys have been through a lot. I am glad you were able to be there for them through that. How did Mr pirate fair during your absence? No one to cook for and all?
If we had a crystal ball to see the challenges of motherhood we probably would never have taken the path. We've took the path of motherhood, due to that special love, very very few would not hesitate to say they would do it all over again. Glad that your daughters felt / knew they could call upon you for your assistance. Hoping you are giving yourself a little extra care these days. Will try to remember to pray for your daughters healing.
I am so proud of both of your DDs. Just like their Mama they each have dealt with their realities and done what they've needed to do. I am so very glad for you and Mr. P they each have a solid support systems and guys in their lives that have really stepped up to take good care of them. What a blessing for you two being a long distance from each one. Do keep us all updated as to how they each are doing!
She's really growing and catching up for lost time!
well Zownds!!! Flibberty blank and zoink!
The foot on the Bernina is busted!
I was working along on my door hanger and went to sew another seam, stepped on the gas and...de nada, zip, nothing.
I took it appart to see if I could repair it, but there is a wee plastic join has given up the ghost...It's fatal...
Ordered a new one from Amazon. It's supposed to be here on Monday. Hope the new one lasts for a while!
Just glad it didn't happen at Retreat...that would suck.

Truer words were never spoken. Thanks for the reminder. I'm sad that so many go into motherhood only thinking about the cute little baby they can check off their list of "to dos" and not consider the lifetime commitment it takes for both mom and dad.
Are you still driving, and is your machine working so you can bring it?
i think i have machines worked out for everyone!
Ok all, this is the list I have of those needing machines:
Did I miss anyone? I think I have enough machines!
[Patti- at this point you do not need to bring your machine. If things change, you are my backup! Ok?]
This is my list of persons bringing EXTRA machines:
Kathi Shun (2)
Does everyone still have these extra machines in working order?
Wow! Thanks for arranging for all those machines and thanks for everyone providing extras. Shall we make a contest out of guessing how many donation tops we all get sewn up with all the donated fabric Ellen and Cathy have?
