I had a great time - enjoyed visiting with everyone, and look forward to it every year. FYI I only brought a small fraction of my ready strings - and I also have a closet full of color-coded scrap tubs in one of the Empty Nest bedrooms waiting to be cut into 'lumberyard' pieces. Of course leftover strips with end up in the String box.

It is a never ending struggle-LOL- and I have so many orphan blocks people have given me, I don't have time to do the strings!!

I have a very big string blocks quilt that needs quilting. I really need to measure it and see how much backing fabric I need. Maybe I'll get it quilted by checkbook this year. LOL I have one more really big quilt top that needs quilting - it's the hearts that all of the AZ quilters made me when I was sick some years ago. I am tired of those two quilt tops languishing in obscurity, so I need to get them done so I can use and/or display them. This year, I need to focus on throw-sized quilts and baby quilts that I can quilt myself. Hah!

Thank you! It's an easy crochet necklace. You thread the crystals or beads on the thread first and then crochet them into the necklace. I added a button for the end and made a loop to go over it. I'm sure there are some tutorials on YouTube if you crochet and are interested in making one. Otherwise I would be happy to make one for you.

It looks so nice Bobbi! Yes, do post the final top when you get there, we would love to see it. :)
