I now left Phoenix yesterday and am in Tucson for 4 days.It is really windy and 65 degrees.

It is really windy the last two days.Today we shop for Anita and tomorrow. She does not drive.So it is hard for her to get around town here.I might stay longer just to get her things that she need done.

We don't have a local agent. We use Travel with Alan who is located in Washington state.

I think I'm going to have to go to a travel agent soon, because the Amtrack website is not very user friendly, and I am trying to plan a trip to Wisconsin, and I don't want to drive OR fly!

A few years ago when my DH was working in California and I was spending some time in NM he suggested I come back by train. I took the train from Albuquerque to Bakersfield California and it was so much fun and watching the scenery from the observation car was so much fun. Great way to travel in my opinion.
