 a very quilt-y cross-stitch Christmas!  I cried.

and she had it framed with museum glass - she knows me very well.  Knows I detest getting things framed.

What an expert dedicated stitcher she is!  And to think she made such a special gift for you and had it framed. Wow!

that is a LOT of work ...... from someone who has done a LOT of counted cross-stitch in her day!   The shading is terrific!

My goodness! What an amazing piece of work!  I wonder how long it took her.  My wrists would be screaming if I ever attempted something like that.

That is a gorgeous piece! I do cross stitch, too, but samplers which aren't nearly that dense! What a treadure!

That is BEAUTIFUL!  I'm doing more cross stitch than quilting/sewing lately.  I could "almost" stitch and gift something like that to my sister who says Christmas always looks like Santa threw up in her house already so the more Christmas "things" she has, the better!

Anyway, please pass my compliments along to your sister.

That’s a wonderful thing to have!  You are much loved for her to do that especially for you!
