Hello Gloria, any friend of Ellens is a friend of mine.  I think I remember you from Foothills.  Am I right?

You introduce yourself and start chatting.

And don't believe everything they say about me-haha. Labfiend here, lives in Oklahoma, has a building full of fabric, loves trolls and not afraid to get in my truck and go!

I can understand why the person thought she could improve on a fantastic piece of fabric but she was sadly misguided.

I agree with this 100%! I had actually had the same thought of what it would look like if you combined two of the panels into one. Now I don’t have to wonder, and I don’t have to waste the effort and the fabric! It definitely was not an improvement.

OK ladies, I think I’m caught up now. For the last couple of weeks trying to read more than a few sentences of ANYTHING made my eyes cross and made me very sleepy. I’m sure it’s just a combination of pain meds and muscle relaxers. As of yesterday, I am now only taking half a pain pill at a time, and only when the pain creeps up not by the clock. Today will be an exception though, because it’s physical therapy today. Yuck! But a necessary evil.

I know most of you are on Facebook and already have had an update, but my knee replacement surgery went very well. I’ve been more independent than expected, and was a bit of a disappointment to my stepmother who was looking forward to dusting off her nursing skills for the week that I stayed with her and my dad :-) I moved back to our city house a week ago Wednesday, and continue to improve.

My knee flexion is now from 0 to 100°, though it’s still not comfortable for me to stay in the zero position for a long period. Working on that.

Phia has been taking good care of me. Mostly laying in my lap or next to my knee in the recliner. Today she feels that I need to work on my scar tissue and keeps walking across my operated knee LOL

Not true.  There are some of us who would not touch Facebook with a ten foot pole.  stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye

It is nice to see you back here Misha. Thanks for the news about your surgical outcome and I'm glad to know that Nurse Phia is helping in her own unique way.

This is why I used the word “most“ instead of the word “all“. If I thought that ALL of you were on Facebook, there would be no need for me to post an update here.
