Is your hubby on business, or a short term missionary trip?
Just wondering. I have several friends that do the short term missionary things all the time.

I thought I was done with the afib too. I was really upset about the whole thing. I was laying in bed listening to my audiobook and just as we got to the "steamy" part, I noticed my rapid heartbeat. I got up and did the ECG on my watch and it said: "Hey girl, you are in afib, better call the doctor." They were able to slow it down in the ER and I went home at about 2 am. I never was scared, just bummed out about the whole thing I felt bad that the kids had to stay up so late and go to work the next day.
I saw my cardiologist yesterday and he has put me back on amiodarone, 400mg daily. I asked if it was forever and he said: "until something better comes along." ::sigh::

Thanks; it's nice. And it really helps having the support of my fav teacher (she's not teaching this class but she's tutoring me). Love her!

I’m doing pretty well, thanks. Starting to sleep a little better the last couple of nights, not that I was having a whole lot of trouble, but I’m waking up less often.
Today I went to the downtown park and walked half a mile or maybe a little more. The key thing I’m battling now though is that doing stuff like that kind of wipes me out. I don’t want to go back to work and be falling asleep at my desk! So we’ll see how things go over the next few days. Nobody’s pressuring me yet to go back, and amazingly it seems to be entirely up to me. It’s only been four weeks and two days so far. Oddly enough, on my doctors paperwork he cleared me to December! But I think that was just so if things went slowly or were difficult they wouldn’t have to fill out new paperwork LOL

Wow, that's a long time! I'm sorry it's taking so long, but glad it's progressing :) Been thinking about you!

I will certainly keep you in my prayers. Just a year ago, my best fur friend had to be taken to the University of Illinois Vet school emergency room for back problems. Over $5000 and he still didn't make it. Poor guy had an embolism during surgery. What we do for our fur babies. I hope this plan of attack for your baby takes care of whatever the issues are.
