Wow Laura!! Sounds like you hit it big with all of the quilt room furniture. Looking forward to seeing your new-to-you room all put together. I'm so glad your COVID test showed negative and you can go ahead with your hand surgery. I'll keep reading to see how it went. I trust well and you are now recovering well.

I'm doing fine and everyone is Jason's family has been cleared to go back to work. Kellie went back today and Jason will go back next Wednesday. None of them ever did get really sick. Kellie lost all taste and smell and Jason had the sniffles and a little bit of congestion. If they hadn't been tested they probably wouldn't have known they had the "plague". Just to be on the safe side I told Jason not to hug me for a while. LOL
Carolyn
I'm so glad you are all well. But it had to kill you to tell Jason not to hug you for awhile!

I don’t think I have said anything here, but my son had to resign his school position. Issues with how things were managed and communicated while he was doing their summer care program.
I'm so sorry Ellen. Do take care of YOU while you are caring for those in your family and other issues.

Man, this Covid really has
people become mean!
I agree! My poor sister is the Librarian at the Christian MS & HS in the area. The lady she reports too can be as nice as pie toward her one day and then just terrible to her to the point she is just sure she's going to be fired. My sister said it was really bad last week and she ended up in tears she was so upset and scared by the situation. Linda (sister) has been working FT+ for this lady for a few years in this role and she has been persuing a Masters in Library Science as her administrators have wanted her to. She about at her wits end stressed out and this COVID stress just complicates everything. I hope you are doing better and that Zack is encouraged with something new to do soon... all for the positive!

Viola, you are probably wise to do that! I missed my granddaughter's birthday also, but didn't feel safe going to Texas at this time! Hope it changes some by October (the next birthday), or maybe December!

Yea, the church school that I do the library for (where DS worked) is trying to open in person. Teachers are given no voice in this. It is crazy and the health risks of several of the staff concerns me! I’m not happy about it ....have told them that I will not take classes in the library, but will take a limited number at a time to check out books.
while on campus, the teachers all seem stiff and just keeping to themselves. It just isn’t the positive campus it used to be.
it is sad, and I wish we were not gearing up for in person just yet......
Sorry, guess you got a rant from me. This is my hot spot these days.

Don't put it off too long! Just GO for it and trust you've done your diligence. God has a plan for you!! Trust it!!

DH is starting his 2nd week at the new job in Colorado.
That's great! I am glad this one is in the same area in CO so you don't have to get wheels up and move somewhere else. Even though that sounds like fun once or twice!
