Thanks! So many things I would enjoy more right now than spending 8am till 8pm in the hodpital.....maybe cleaning the place from top to bottom, solving math problems, Humm, just about anything. I do not like hospitals for patient or visitor side. Today we found out that he will be there at least thru Wed...
I am so grateful for my two quilt kits I can just grab and everything I need is inside.

At least you get to be with him! For the longest time here people can’t be in the hospital unless you are a patient or a worker! So very relieved that you can attend to him!

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate being able to be there 12 hours a day. Just woke up and might as well get up and going because I can't sleep anyway. This is a pretty tough time.

Thanks Karen. Just got home from hospital. They have ruled out blockage so now we are waiting for next steps. He has a whopping case of afib and my guess is when he went to urgent care he was pretty close to having a heart attack. They are giving him diuretics and he has lost 22 pounds of water in two days. Just praying they figure out how to get the heart back to a regular heartbeat.

ugh. ugh. I have learned that it can go on for an inordinate amount of time. It may auto-convert; it may not. Our nurses here can discuss this more intelligently than I can, as I've only had 2 episodes that were short. (well, they lasted too long **for me** but that's neither here nor there.)

What???? Holy moley. Do they think apparent congestive heart failure??
Ami, Ami ... I'm thinking of you and Mark.
