Oh Ami.  I so feel for you.  Hang in there girlfriend!

Re:  Fabric challenge

Are we limited to wall hangings, bags or table runners, or or other quilted items also allowed?

Thanks.

J.

Shelves no deeper than 12" - BRILLIANT!  In my pantry, they are twice that - and floor to ceiling, adjustable height.  It's easier for me to reach to tall shelves by stepstool than to reach to the back of the lower shelves, which requires getting down on my hands and knees, so I have put some pull-out baskets down there.  It's nice to have all that space, but what were they thinking?  .... logistics, people!  ha

Some of you may remember the quilt I was working on at the retreat, well, It'sfinally finished . It became much bigger than I ever intended it to be. I think it's more of a bedspread than a quilt. It measures 96"x96" according to my quilter.

If I remember how I will post a couple of pictures here.

I can't find the picture of the label. But I hand embroidered it. And I was quite pleased with it. The quilt is a wedding gift for a young friend of mine. I'll give it to her this week.

David is right about the weather.  If it snows one day it's usually melted in a day or two -  then if feels like fresh spring weather afterwards.  The big storms are infrequent.  Congrats Judy!  I can't wait to hear more about your adventure.  I'm excited that I may get to see you when we visit my son too.

Thanks Linda!  I would love to connect with you as you are more local too!

How very special and I'm sure she will be so overwhelmed and pleased when she opens your lovely gift.
