Your little label is a piece of art in itself.

My kitchen cupboards are very deep like that.  Gradually the last few years hubby has put in shelves that pull out. I do t know why they make shelves so deep.....

That is lovely!  I still love those colors!

I really do like the extra room the deep shelves give, but the extra room is no good if you can't reach it!

And you know, we were just recently talking about clothes washers -- well, in the last 24 hours, my washer has decided it doesn't want to agitate or spin any more.  After one uneventful load, during the next load there was a horrible loud grinding sound, and after that it wouldn't agitate or spin.  It ran through the entire cycle, filling and emptying, soaking, etc.  But apparently the water just drained out and the sheets I was washing did not spin -- they were just soaking wet, so I had to kind of hand-wring them before putting them in the dryer.  I'm gonna call and get a repairman tomorrow.  Just hope it can be fixed and does not mean I need to get a new one.  This one is only about 7 years old.  But hey, if I do, I guess I can finally get one with a clear lid.  LOL

I'm not sure where you live in CA, but are you being affected by the fires?  It all looks so scary on the news.

Perhaps machine just needs a new belt .... that's all my machine needed when a similar thing happened to me years ago. New belt fixed the problem and machine has continued to work just fine.

Hope you can get it fixed.  My repair guy said they don't make appliances to last more than 7-ish years, so they can sell you a new one!  We fixed our washing machine several times, until the repair guy said it would be more expensive to fix than get a new one. But we got a new one that didn't have very many electronics, so hopefully it will last fairly long!
