hubby and I are going to check out the Speed Queen models tomorrow. I am ever so glad we have time to check them out and plan and not make a speedy decision.

Lynne, it does look scarey, doesn't it? Those fires are all in very rural , heavily wooded areas. To be sure, there are people living there but it's not like being in the suburbs.
The smoke is the worst for us. Air quality is horrible. The sky is orange and looks very apocalyptic.

go to a paint store and get me some paint chips of the colors she liked. Then when I got to Arizona and had picked out a pattern I took her paint chips to a fabric store and selected my fabric.
What a great way to get the colors the recipient prefers! I've got to remember that.

Judy that move to CO sounds perfect.
On the retreat challenge, you can make anything you wish as long as it is 30 X 30 or smaller.
Viola I’m glad your Dad is recovering well and getting his voice back. Enjoy your time with him.
my hand is healing yay yay. My DD is due Oct. 28th, her baby shower is next Saturday! A bit of a challenge with one hand lol. I’m so excited to be a Nana. ♥

I am glad your hand is healing. Hopefully better each day and you will have full use of it soon.
DH is stable but he is definitely not out of the woods. He is on 6 new meds and wears a vest to monitor his heart. Hopefully the Dr can figure out how to fix the afib.
