Oh my. We would have not done well in the house all day!  Lol

in the summers We were up at dawn, did our chore, and didn’t come home until the street lights came on. We would eat lunch where ever we were playing. If our house, mom would feed whomever was there. 
in our small hometown, no one ever minded if we got water or fruit off the trees. 
Everyone looked out for the kids. We had such fun summers. 
that’s my happy place, there when we were kids. 
 

You all completely surprised me. It was a good bye for Viola. Lol

but THANK YOU ALL!  I got home and read my quilt. “Fight like a girl, etc.”. It made me feel happy. ♥?

Sounds idyllic. Me...during school year I left in time for schoolbus and had to be back 3:45 when the bus pulled up. No going out. And during the summer, we hardly ever went outside, either. But I could get through 3 books/day!

Well that paid off, in that your definitely smarter than the average bear.

I have Acorn, but I don't care for the others. I have watch more TV than ever before. I've blown through a bunch of series on Acorn.
