Thank you for sharing.   Do all of you live there or are some of you snowbirds

Quite a few of them live in Phoenix.  The rest of us are scattered around the country. My house is in New Mexico  but I live in Colorado in a RV and Vista my house when I can. 

I am now totally "PEA GREEN" with envy.  You go girl.. and it sounds like you do.  I have entertained the thought of a very small RV so I could gadabout at will. 

Looked at renting one on my trip to stay in near my son.  I first asked if any of their friends had one they'd rent to me.. They are all "hotel" folks when they travel.  The kids are very gracious, but it would be nice to have my own space when I visit.  Had planned to look at some 2nd home type property, but I just didn't have enough time.  Plus, places get sold o fast you practically have to be sitting in a realtors office when something goes on the market.

We have been in the RV 5 years now. We have spent time in Texas, Oregon, Washington, California, and now Colorado. We got our 1st small RV when my oldest was born and loved traveling on trips. We also lived in it 2 months when we moved from one house to another. The one we live in now is huge and we currently live rent free on a relatives farm. I am kinda getting tired of the full time and not traveling. Hubby wants to work 4 more years and then we can hit the road.

If you can get one and it is just you go small but make sure you have a bathroom with shower. If you are just doing trips and not full time small is great. We are getting our original smaller RV fixed up again to use on weekends and short trips. There are sites for used ones out there.

LOL!!! Easy, fun, and a good opportunity to mentally escape. :D 

yes I am getting excited about my new place and new adventure.My house will be much bigger than what I have  now.But I will miss everybody here in AZ.Had two big party's this week.Lot of gifted and card.Still have some more party's to go next week.The service for my husband will be Monday nite 24th at 7:00.My address book is box up so I can not thank each one of youn that gave me something until I unpack again.

Thanks for the update on dear Carolyn.  I do hope she can get in sooner for her procedure.  She just sounds miserable and is probably so worn down by it all.  Praying for you ((((( Carolyn ))))).  

What wonderful pics!  I'm so glad to see so many of my favorite friends together smiling!!  Blessings to you Viola as you move to TN.  I'm sure you will make many more special quilting friends there too!

Did you all make Laura a comfort quilt?  It is delightful!  And it looks like it is working already.
