hahaha...I have too! G finally said NO MORE AMAZON BOXES!! At least until we get house staged for my surgery later in the summer (we have to have it super clean since I will not have any immune system to speak of for quite a while)

I’m starting Chemo on Wednesday June 23rd. I have to do 4 treatments 3 weeks apart so I should be done by end of August. Then a short break before radiation 21 treatments which should be done by the 1st of October.

Oh my!  You will be a bit busy.  I do hope they give you a bit of rest time in between the treatments.  Praying you through.

I couldn't get the reply window to respond to "all" but this message is for all of you who are facing upcoming surgeries or treatments.  Just wanted to let you know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.  I pray for the skill of your doctors and caretakers and the return to your comfort and health.

It certainly does.  You have been a tremendous long distant helper.  The medical supplies you sent are so much better than what I can get at a drug store.  That pressure sore is almost completely healed up.

I haven’t ever been a huge fan of jelly roll race quilts, but yesterday I saw one I loved. I’m so mad at myself for not taking a picture. 
It was a traditional pattern, but the quilting made it fantastic. All they did was turn it so the strips were vertical and then quilted straight lines across in sets of two. Two lines about half an inch apart and then the next set about 1.5 inches from the first. Changed the whole look and made it look modern and really great. 
 

Maybe this is common, but I’ve always seen them with the strips horizontal and usually an edge to edge something. Fine, but not a wow piece ya know?  Somehow turning it made it a wow piece for me. 
 

I don’t have automatic channel locks so when I decide I want to get my steps in, I’ll give this one a shot

I’m sorry you have to go through this, but thankful for the science that makes it possible. Thought and hugs to you. Know we are keeping you close in our hearts.
