I sure is quiet on the forum today! I have been reading every day but not posting much. I have been working on the house and making great progress on all the painting, fixing, some packing and being here for people to come put carpet in two room, someone to fix and paint the fireplace. We are heading back to Colorado Sunday with DH motorcycles.........he is gonna try to sell them to one of DBIL's friends..........progress on that front. I will likely turn around and come back here on Tuesday to keep working. The list of things is getting shorter one item at a time and a few rooms just have tiny details at this point, some just need the things in them packed. My upstairs hall is full of stuff to haul to the thrift store my next visit.
I have to say I am getting pretty good at putting wallboard compound on walls to repair, sand, repeat till is is smooth and then paint. So far we have painted two rooms in the past month and I have two bathrooms almost ready for paint, the kitchen and downstairs bathroom are getting closer too. The 1000 pound gorilla now is sanding all the cabinets in kitchen, and 3 bathrooms and painting.
Can I say I wish I were done so I can get back to my regular routine.

YES! You have been working like a wild woman and you have gotten soooo very much accomplished to completion. Enjoy your few days away in CO and then back to it and you'll be free, FRee, FREE soon!!!
