I don't remember if I've told our horror story. I didn't know until I walked into the back of the church if the guys would be wearing jeans & boots or tuxes. The tuxes had been ordered locally whose supplier was in Dallas. Our tuxes were stuck in an ice storm somewhere between NM & Dallas. So the morning of the wedding he contacted a couple of competitors in El Paso, who pulled together enough tuxes to outfit our party. The morning of the wedding - my dad's best friend flew him to El Paso (100 miles each way) to pick them up and arrived with them 30 minutes before the start of the wedding. We didn't notice until the pictures that the pants were not all the same color of gray stripe. The pants were way too long, and the groomsmen were wearing boots & loafers.
I'm listening to Anna Karenina right now and there is a wedding scene where Levin's servant forgets to keep out a clean shirt when packing. The wedding started several hours late while they frantically searched for a shirt for him to wear, finally tracking down his trunks just as they were being loaded. I thought geesh, wedding problems have a very long history.

Oh man, what a mess! They should’ve worked all night until it was done right! Update us how it went.

Oh my, I would’ve been freaked out.
But how cool having a private plane handy to fly your dad to get them!

Carolyn: How are you doing? I saw pics last night of a big tornado touching down somewhere in Andover, hope it didn't make over to Augusta! Did you have any tornado warnings?

Oh my Carolyn. I'm so sorry I'm late getting to your news. That'll teach me for not checking in more. I'm so glad you are too upset and worried. I was told many years ago that many tumors of cancers are discovered while searching or treating something else altogether. Cathy is wonderful to come and look after you to get you back on your feet. A good friend donated a kidney of hers for her cousin's transplant chain and was at her nephew's college Master's graduation a few days later. Of course on her husband's arm and home to her recliner soon after!
I'll be thinking and praying for you and your Dr and Cathy too!!
