do they think that lymph node was responsible for the hypercalcemia?

It absolutely was.  Before, every time they stopped the infusions (to lower the calcium levels) it would come right back up again.  It has been two months since my surgery and everything is in the normal range.  Right now I am cancer free.  For a while, I will be having monthly blood tests to make sure everything is good.  Of course, periodically I will have scans too.

How awful.  I had not heard of this but I was not living in AZ  24 years ago.  Hopefully, lessons were learned and things have changed for the better.

Well, it came out in 2017, so 6 years ago. Sure hope they're learning from their mistakes!

Oops, you are right.   These old eyes misread the date on the article.

It's ok! I understand...I keep texting without my glasses at night and I swear i'll mess something up someday. :P

So we got DD married off and gained a new child and his family. It was such a wonderful day. For those of you that saw my SAS haul at the most recent retreat this is the dress I made with it.

congratulations.  And the dress turned out great!

Thank you. It looks simple but it was quite the project complete with full lining and invisible zipper.
