I made my Eclipse quilt that way by choosing the borders and the the fabrics for the blocks.  It works.

I have a few projects in the works.  I had never done an attic window setting and was given some beautiful squares of flowered fabric.  This is what I did with them.  I liked it so much that I'm working on a couple kids quilts where the fabric lends itself to this approach.  Also have the rows of a scrappy quilt made.  I'll post them when I have them sewn together, maybe tonight.  It's so good to be in my quilting space again.

Attic windows are one of my favorite patterns.  the florals are perfect for it.  Yay for sewing again!

Hello Everyone

Haven't been on much lately but I am back! 

This is what I've been working on.  It is called Deep Blue Sea, an embroidery embellishment class that I took earlier this month.  I had a lot of fun with it.  This is for my SIL for his birthday.
