Thank you Jo.  I really enjoy adding machine embroidery to quilts.

Thank you Lynne.  It was fun and quick to make.  I wanted to get it done before my knee replacement surgery in two weeks.

Oh, goodness!  I hope your surgery goes smoothly and the recovery time will be quick.

Thank you.  Me too!  I had my pre-op appointment today with the surgeon.  I'm ready to get it done!

Those bright colors give it a rick rack look.  Love it.

Love it.  Making a quilt from your stash is always nice.

I can relate to that.  Mine were done years ago and I have never regretted it.

I'm thinking about a checkerboard next, with little colored hourglass triangles in alternate corners.

It's kind of amusing.  I decided that I had not been making quilts using 4.5" blocks so I was on a mission to use up all the precut squares I had stashed.  Which I did use about 80% of them.  And ever since what quilts have I been making?  Quilts with 4.5" blocks.  Aggggh.  So I think I'm going to go ahead and cut some extras this time through my stash.  I'm getting tired of cutting and refolding over and over.
