I can relate to that. Mine were done years ago and I have never regretted it.

I'm thinking about a checkerboard next, with little colored hourglass triangles in alternate corners.
It's kind of amusing. I decided that I had not been making quilts using 4.5" blocks so I was on a mission to use up all the precut squares I had stashed. Which I did use about 80% of them. And ever since what quilts have I been making? Quilts with 4.5" blocks. Aggggh. So I think I'm going to go ahead and cut some extras this time through my stash. I'm getting tired of cutting and refolding over and over.

Yes it is! I really need to use up/give away some of my stash.

It got First place at the quilt guild, then went to the county fair
where it got: 1st Place, and Best of Show as well as fair theme ribbon. I named it, “The Garden Wall”. In remembrance of my Mom’s and Gram’s sweet pea trellises that we’re against a wall of the house. I was so thrilled about this one.

I’ve been so busy the past few months. I was in charge of our Guild Retreat this year. It had been scheduled for April but circumstances arose and we postponed it until August. Well it was a success. The ladies had a great time and together we got a quilt top together. Now I just need to sandwich and quilt it. It will be given to the guild for our quilt auction in Sept. 2020.
