Off aNd off I have sewing some more triangles for my Dear Jane project. Feels good to ping and doing a few of these.
but, now I need to set these aside and work on a baby quilt for my niece. She will finally be having their baby girl!

Okay, Ellen, I have to ask. What kind of activity is "ping"?

Are you sure you want to know?

Marcia! I wonder what kind of pain pill you took after your knee surgery that makes you think such interesting thoughts?!? LOL
Seriously, how are you doing with that new knee?

Judy, I've always liked thinking the "naughty" thoughts!
My knee is healing and doing well. It's been 3 1/2 weeks and I'm walking twice a day without a cane, cooking, doing light housework () and driving! Being able to drive gave me such a sense of freedom and actually gave my DH real freedom since he doesn't have to chauffeur me to PT, doctors appointments, quilt guild meetings, etc. I have my 4 week checkup with the surgeon Wednesday and then I should be done, at least until I get the other knee replaced. Thanks for asking.
I bought some pretty pots of mums today to put on our deck where we can see them from our sun room. My summer planters were looking a bit weary, especially after the 95 degree days we had last week.

Glad to hear all is going well with you knee surgery. Been thinking and wondering how you were doing.
If you want to send that hot weather my way we sure could use it. It's Oct and we have had sooooo much rain all summer but especially in Sept that there has been flooding. Flood warning went off again this morning, rained most of the night and off and on all day.

Thank you Jo! I'm pleased with my progress. I hope the surgeon is just as pleased this Wednesday.
I'll trade you the hot weather for some rain. It is terribly dry here.

I ought to pull out my Dear Jane blocks. I've had them all put together in kits just waiting!

I am working on my **FINAL** Deco Garden block! I've completed (48) 12" floral blocks, (28) 6"x12" border blocks, and (4) 6" corner blocks.
I'm ALMOST ready to trim them all to size. Dang, I can hardly wait! :-)

Woohoo! The end is in sight....bet it's going to be gorgeous.
I'm putting the binding on the last quilt I did while exiled in Big Spring. It was a very unhappy time and I will be glad to get it gifted and gone.
