Marcia and Suze, thanks for the complements. This pattern has been in my baby quilt binder for a while now. It is a fun quilt to work on.

Judy, I know those penguins are just so cute. The pattern is from an old Quiltmaker issue. When I talked to Jeannie (Athena's Mom) about her new quilt she said that Athena loves animals. Isaac (older brother) still loves cars so his quilt will have paper pieced vehicles. I've never done paper piecing before so that might take me awhile.

Phew! you got a lot done! I did a bit of stitching, but trying to do some deep cleaning since the whole family will be here for Thanksgiving dinner. Why is it when you have company coming that you notice dust and dirty places that you never really notice on other times?

Aren't you glad you started this thread? Look how active we have become! Thank you!

The reason I was able to get so much done is because I'm stuck inside with a head cold. We have been invited to friend's for Thanksgiving but won't be able to go now. I certainly don't want to share my germs with anyone. Fortunately last week I bought a boneless, cooked turkey breast at Costco because we like to have turkey leftovers. So at least we can have turkey Thursday.
