Yup!  Me, too.  And I do like the idea of putting some 3D pop-up hexies in there, just to break up the Hollow Cubes.  At least, the idea sounds good in my head.  We'll see how it goes when it's assembly time!

Well on how many to make,  who is this for. Do you want to display it on a bed? Maybe do a wall quilt and call it done.

We drove to Colorado yesterday and I was appliquing my cubes to the background and made great progress. I went about a third of the way around the shape.

Dee that sure is going to be pretty!

and that, of course, is THE question!   I haven't decided at this point.  I don't need to!   I'll assemble all the Hollow Cube hexies I have currently kitted up and see what that gives me.  I'll make some decisions at that time.

Love your cubes!  The purple one really has good contrast.  I know what you mean--fabric choices folded next to each other looked good, but when made into a cube you didn't see the contrast as much as you thought you would.  Yours are great!

nightly progress.  The remainder of the blocks are cut and ready to sew.  Really really would rather be in my sewing room than sitting here being an accountant.  ah well, the emails beckon.

Maybe not as much progress as you had wished for but you are still moving forward.  Glad you took the time to enjoy the vacation.

it would be a good idea to read how big a pattern makes before you cut a bunch of fabric
