Here's the latest progress on the Hen House applique project: I've completed all the Happi Hens ... 4 in one direction and 1 in the reverse direction.

The white circles aren't exactly their eyes ... the actual eyeball will be an embroidered circle or asterick or something that is much, much smaller.  I'll do that to all the hens when I've finished the hen appliques.

Oh, what darling little hens you have made!  You've done a great job on them.

They are looking cute

Very cute, each one showing some personality that will develop more with the true eyes.

Your chicks are so cute!  I love that you have an ornery one.  I did that on Connor's high top tennis shoe quilt.

Now that the Happi Hens are completed, the next set of hens are named Helga.  Here's the first one.  Ami, that blue on the pocket shape (I think it's supposed to be a wing!) is from the hand-dyed fabrics that you did.  :-)
