I have spent the last three days doing scrap management of three large paper bags stuffed full of fabric. cutting to sizes I use most, sorting what will be passed on to others. Was working on my 2019 Frolic Bonnie Hunter Mystery but ran out of one fabric. Tracked some down and ordered and it arrived 9-21. I was surprised at how fast Farm Fresh Fabrics out of NY shipped my order. It was the only place that had it. Lucky me. I put binding on a QOV, my 2017 BH workshop quilt and also finished Good Fortune the 2018 BH Mystery. So WHY do I still have so many UFO's that need to be done and gone?
My HST projects ate up a bunch of those, but got bored and put them aside for now. Life is good and I am making progress. Also getting the house ready for new flooring upstairs and in the stairwell. Then new baseboard throughout the whole place. I want to be a minimalist and have very few thing other than my sewing machines and fabric.
I love my new Christmas quilt. I give everything away except the Bonnie Hunter Mysteries. Those I keep for myself most of the time.
LOVE the Christmas quilt design! Very attractive!
The pattern is called My Blue Heaven. It’s under the free patterns tab on Bonnie Hunter’s quiltvilleblogspot.com. I really enjoyed making it, as it used up a lot of my odds & ends Christmas fabric.
Love your quilt!! Makes me tired just thinking of all you have accomplished.
I finally got around to finishing my covid quilt. Back in March I had this idea of making a tiny house with a kid or character looking out the door for each day o quarantine. After 70 days, I got sick of it so called it quits.
That Covid Quilt of yours is darling! Adorable! Delightful!
(I could use up a thesaurus of positive adjectives but I'll quit after three. LOL)
Wow you have got a lot done!
LOL! Thank you ! At the rate this virus is going if I kept making a house a day, it would move from a little village to a big metropolis.
Your house quilt looks great!
I finished quilting 3 quilts on the longer for a friend last week. Now I need to put on something of mine.
I made a 4th pair of pants out my my now well used pattern. This pair is in rust just in time for Fall. I just need to hem them.
I have made slow progress on the applique border of the mystery quilt and have another quilt to design some applique for.
I want to sort and cut some scraps for some piecing projects as I have 3 large scrap bins out of control.....need to fix that.
