What Are You Working On Now?   General Discussion

And...........if you do decide to rebaste keep in mind that the floor is a great flat surface, you may need to move furniture out of the way but it would give you the flat surface you need. Back in the day I used my dinning room floor, moved all the furniture and mopped the floors. Then I would literally use masking tape to attach the piece to the floor so it was good and square. Do not tell me this is too much work, it is one solution that is all.

ugh.  My back isn't as young as it used to be!

But, I'm seriously thinking of re-basting.  ugh.  Time to queue up another movie.

You've already invested so much time, I just hate for you to get impatient now and regret it.  Easy for me to say. blush

Once I looked at it and saw it was skewed, I really knew what I was ultimately gonna do.  I was resisting but I also know that I wouldn't be happy with the result if I left it that way.  Drats.  ugh.

This is off topic but I bought this clock at a little gift shop on the Southern California coast about 3 years ago.  Finally had Bob hang it in my sewing room.  It's so cute that I thought I'd share a picture of it with you.  The scissors swing back and forth.

That is adorable. Glad you brought it out to see the light of day.

I really didn't need it but I just couldn't leave it in the shop!  I kept looking at the box.  Yesterday Bob was in the mood to get something done so I asked him to hang it.
