I really love those! I even brought them to the big get-togethers we used to have at my Sis's..so much easier than actually COOKING a full turkey and DH and I really only like the breast meat anyway!
One is residing in my fridge for Turkey Day...probably will be very subdued this year..nobody has a place big enough to host the large (and getting larger) crowd anymore..

Yes! Those roasts are tender and delicious and soooo much easier than cooking a whole turkey. The only drawback is that there's no carcass for soup.

Sorry to hear that your cold will interfere with your Thanksgiving celebration. Glad you can have turkey anyway. We will be at our son's. They always do Thanksgiving and I do Christmas. It will be smaller this year because my DMIL can't come out of her assisted living. She is in hospice care. Also my DSIL has moved back to Michigan.

At my house walways joke that we need a four legged turkey. We are invited to someone's house this year and I need to bring a side dish. I am making ratatouille. I have made it twice now. It is beautiful and everyone seems to like it.
Christmas we will be going to New Mexico.

The charity quilt is quilted and trimmed. I found a fabric I like for the binding but need to make sure there's enough. It will be finished tomorrow!

Cathy, Ellen and Lynne, thanks for the nice comments. Now that my carpets are clean and dry, I'll be able to get into my sewing/dining room today.

The charity quilt is finished. I just have to wait for DH to help with the photo. In the meantime, here is a photo of some burp cloths I made for my future DGS. They are machine embroidered with fabric edging. I want to give them to DD and DSIL when they come to visit in two weeks.

Awww..precious burp cloths Marcia...nice work.
I was working on my 2nd triple irish chain (Bonnie's pattern), but ran out of the background fabric, which is not white...never white if I can help it...So when that comes in I'll use that as my L/E for the mystery. But for now, I'm Lozenging.
