That wreath is beyond words ... breath taking! You obviously have the patience of Job to stick with all those small applique and embroidery pieces!
It's looking simply stunning. Wowsers!

You are correct in pointing out that it would be great to see faces of forum members once in awhile. Some of us (like Mishii, Viola and Suze) hide behind clever avatars which is fine and dandy but really there's no reason why they cannot share their natural beauty with us once in awhile.
We're tough ... we can handle the truth. LOL

Oh wow what a happy color palate! You are gonna have some fun working on something that pretty!

Absolutely! Perfectly cut tiny pieces, looks like a dream to work on. Just have to finish binding the big "Barberpole Twister" thing for my friend and give my hands and shoulders a rest and its on to this next project.
Unless I hear from Fat Quarter Shop about replacing the crooked Moda panel .... I'm beginning to have my doubts about that. It is a holiday weekend you know .....

Those are scrumptious colors! I bet you are more than ready to jump into this project. What fun!

Thanks. This one was hard for me, I really wanted it to be perfectly semetrical. I kept reminding myself it was supposed to look like real leaves and should balanced but not perfect. Those berries are about 3/8" across. They were too small to do a running stitch so I pleated the fabric with the appliquick tools and pressed. Any smaller and I would have done satin stitch instead like the ornaments on the tree. The berries on the garland are almost an inch by comparison and seem huge

Stick a pin in it, 'cause it's done.
But don't stick a pin in it while I have it wrapped around me because I certainly do not want to bleed on it!! Wanda was shorter than me when we were in college together so I'll assume she still is .... this will be a magnificent wrap-around quilt if it gets chilly enough in February in Sacramento.
And here's my usual "drape it on the living room couch photo
(One of these days I'll get the good looking young fireman across the street to strike a pose on the couch for me to spice up a photo .... )
