Do we need to schedule our trip to see Carolyn in KS to "jive" with your trip to Aunt Margaret's? Now that Carolyn is doing better, that could be possible. It would be her call. But I could bring these boxes of "thin" fabric to your place then.

Give away what you can at the Craft swap, but I just hate to see it in the dumpster. And yes, one of my quilty buddies and i discovered we like monsters, and both have read books from Dan Reeder, one is "Make Something Ugly...for a change" He does paper mache and then used cloth and glue to add cloth mache, and makes monsters. I went to the thrift store and bought several dolls for $1 each, to change into monsters. And all those eyeballs you gave me......buhaaaa! And he says to use really thin material , soo....

We can get in touch with her and check, but are you up for going to KS also? We could just go to Wichita when Carolyn is up for it.

Yes, I thought that was the plan -- I would drive up to your place, and you would drive us the rest of the way to KS. No limit on which days or how many, just so I have some advance notice; just need to tell my part-time job when I will be gone. So, just think about it.

?? You have a part-time job? I'm gonna be nosey and ask! What is it? :-)

It's the same part-time transcription job that I have had since 2007. When I retired from my full-time job, I just kept on doing the part-time job at home, but I did take a cut in pay. It's still good money for a part-time gig, and it really helps to have that income to supplement my SS, get things fixed around the house, and give me some "mad money."

Have you ever thought of making wove rag rugs out of your ugly/too thin fabric? In fact, the thin is better to work with for the rugs.
