Sorry to have been among the missing for so long. Got home from our 5,855 mile road trip safely. We had a great time visiting many old friend and sharing many laughs. It was good for the soul! Had to jump right into preparing for Thanksgiving. Now to think about Christmas.
No sewing at all on our trip but one of the homes we visited is blessed with a quilter. she does beautiful work and loves batiks as I do so I did see lots of eye candy. Since I've been home, I have made a couple small quilt tops for the church group. I also finished hand sewing the binding for the t-shirt quilt for my nephew. Just have to put a label on it and get it in the mail. Also getting binding ready to go on a Christmas quilt for my youngest sister. She will be moving into new digs in the next week. Feels good to get back to my sewing room. I'll post pictures when these are finished.

I bet Bob is glad to be back so he can spend some time with his telescope(s), as there are so many celestial events to view this month!

Wow Cathy sounds like you hit the ground running! It must be nice to be back in your sewing room.

Yup practice is what leads to improvement and charity quilts are great for that because you can do anything you want.

It is good to return home, though. :-)

He would love some time in the observatory but we need some clear skies. We been getting overcast skies in the evenings even with nice sunny days. He just had a repair done in Tucson today so he will be ready.

I know what you mean being in your own bed. Last summer I drove over 5000 miles. I was so ready to get into my own bed. I went to Lex and Richmond KY four days over Thanksgiving. The Last week of Dec I am going to stop in IL to see my 96 yr old dad. Then on to Mo for a week visiting friends. And to Mo Star Quilt Shop.I have a friend that live in MO and she bought my Go Cutter.I had it since 2018 and have never use it. It was the big Lectric. So I am dropping it off at her front door. She is going with me to Mo Star. Then coming home I am stopping in AK where I buy my batting by the roll.

I wish I could sell my Go Big. I have a ton of dies with it. It’s a few years older than yours and I’ve used it maybe a dozen times.
