Oh no…..I sure hope you get better soon! They are saying that this latest strain isn’t making people as sick, but is much more contagious! I hear the last 2 days our n7mbers hav3 greatly increased!
which makes sense as so very many traveled, got together, and spread it. We saw daughter and her guy, but it was just us.
evan was sick with something before Christmas - tested negative. But it sure took a bite out of a week of his schooling and he was changing jobs at the time also..

Thanks for posting her tiger. I sure hope she is right. We could use good news all over the world.

Sorry you were all ill for Christmas. Did your son get it too? I know only a couple of people who have had Covid. I guess I run in the right crowd(I'd call it a small group rather than a crowd.) Hope you get well soon.

Awww... that is really neat. I hope your patience is successful and you can get all that stuff off.. I am so looking forward to seeing this quilt.

My goodness, you have busy! I have ordered from Marshall Dry Goods before and was very pleased with their fabric. Was it bigger than Hancocks of Paducah? I went to MSCQ about 6 years ago so I'm sure it has changed quite a bit. It's amazing how she changed that town.

I hope to put a narrow border on it and then keep it to 8" x 10" finished size. Some of my other blocks are working out to be 9" x 9".

Oh, Dee, that's a shame.
Call it the "Chicken Soup Christmas" because that's probably all your family felt like eating. From what DH and I have been reading this big national wave of illness has been very mild so your comment about it "feeling like a cold" sounds accurate.

Dee sorry you all got sick. Hopefully you all feel better soon.

It was this past Monday night/Tuesday morning that I fell ill with a cold. I did a home test and was covid negative. It's the first cold I've had in years and it was yucky. What was weird is that the symptoms came in waves ... I didn't have them all at the same time. Runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, rumbling cough, nasal congestion, bone aches. No appetite. And I slept. and slept and slept from Tuesday morning through Thursday mid-afternoon. My eyes were so tired I wasn't even reading any books in bed ... I just slept.
But now I feel less like death warmed over and food sounds appetizing again. Nope, I didn't do any sewing at all.
