They would probably be disgusted at the waste, but I had so much fun making them that I don't care what they would think.  I made 5 and if DD needs more, she can use old hand towels.smile

Both of my babies (now 49 and 46) needed to wear cloth diapers since they were allergic to Pampers so I used cloth diapers as as burp cloths.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around the concept of specifically designed burp cloths.  LOL

I used cloth diapers as well, both on Dd's bottom and a couple kept separately for burp cloths.  I used pre-folded cloth diapers for the burp cloths and just added embroidery and fabric for embellishment.  DD also plans to use cloth diapers so she will have plenty of choices.
