That green striped fabric ties all the blocks together. I like your on point setting.
I'm trying not to leave too much behind for my friends to complete when I can't. Nibbling away at it.

applique is done - need to add a little bit of embroidery (mostly leave veins) then quilt. Almost there. I think I've decided I don't like prepared edge as much as I thought. I had lots of problems with too much glue/starch, difficult to needle. Especially with the hand died hombre fabric - not exactly batik but very difficult to sew through (all the sunflower) and many of the leaves. I had to resort of a finger cot to pull the needle through, also had to wet it several times as the glue in combination with multiple layers was just too much. Next time I really must just do dots of glue
