I certainly hope that when you look at it that you will eventually be able to forget all of the difficulty you had in creating it.

like!
I use the glue stick from Appliquick... never have any issues getting thru the glue...it's kinda expensive, but worth it to not engage in swearing...

I'm sure I will. I'm debating about reworking the chickadee's head. the white is appliqued on top of the black and looking at photos I think it shouldn't be so "round". I think I can pull out a section and fold it down a bit farther, make it more flat. considering....

I have one from sewline, but have only used it for EPP. I also seem to end up pinning some as they often come lose with handling. overkill

it was shocking how much was left from Denise...it's a call out to all of us! I have so many projects in work! I am hopefully going to get at least a few of them buttoned down soon..
Oh... I have another grandbaby on the way! My DD is expecting in Jan...a wee lassie this time! So of course, stuff for her takes precedence!!

That came out great. On applique I still use the old fashioned needle turn applique for the most part, no lengthy prep and I find the whole process relaxing.

I do like needle turn, but I also like being able to see "exactly" what it will look like before I sew anything. Able to change fabrics, position, shape etc. You can't really do that with needle turn.
