unusual novelty fabric - Swiss army knife   General Discussion

Started Aug-26 by Dee in TX (DBRADFOR3); 277 views.

I went to a local quilt show this weekend and as usual I was keeping an eye out for unusual novelty fabric.  Isn't this wonderful!  I also found a good umbrella scatter pattern on sales for $6 a yd.  Score!

It seems as if the fabric market is more aware of people who are interested in novelty fabrics these days. Makes your "job" a lot more exciting that's for sure.

Your radar must be going "ping, ping, ping," all of the time ... flushed

It definitely goes in waves.  There is a popular theme right now of camping (lots of retro campers and & tents).  These were part of a fabric line for camping.

I have been hunting lately for question marks.  I am getting down to the last bits in my stash.  I've had to resort to expired fabrics from Etsy but I'm good for a while now (found a black, a white & a red).  A while back I was searching everywhere for "yarn", and now I'm seeing  yarn everywhere.  I also bought some fabric with crutches & x-rays for baby whose dad is a physical therapist.  The Etsy seller accidentally sent me a fabric I didn't order (that looks very similar) but I don't know anyone who is a medical DR.  But eventually it will get used.
