you want to get the metal bottomed one...the plastic ones tip over...I got mine at Road to CA many years ago...
but you can get one from Amazon...

I have two of the cheap plastic ones from JoAnns and I have never had one tip over on me.

i borrowed one once..I dunno..maybe my machine is just persnickety...it kept tipping the stand over...got one of the cast iron ones and all is well with the world...

I won a plastic stand one on the retreat raffle table and use it in the RV. It has never tipped over either. I lI've that it comes apart and fit's in a little box.

Thanks for the input, ladies! I have a couple jumbo rolls of Signature thread and thought this would be the way to use them. I'm going to get it and try one. :)
