I am home. Truck unloaded. Loads to put away, but that will happen in stages.
Thanks to Patty Ennen, Viola Yoder, Sharon Armstrong, Shelley Rodgers, for helping with the charity sewing!
I so appreciate the help in putting these fabrics to work!
Time to rest for another year.

Home, safe, sound, and still enjoying the afterglow of one of my favorite weekends of the year! These Retreats are so very special to all of us, and the efforts of the hostesses contribute greatly to making it that way.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed by being there, being a part of our group, and just being you! I always say this when I come home from Retreat...."so glad to be home but can't wait until next year."

Yup it was nice to chat. We are in the van almost at daughters house. Taking her out for birthday celebration.

Have been home since last night and still have not unpack my car full of material that the ladies have given me.Thank you again for everything and all the heart's that everybody made for me.I had a wonderful time. And the hostness did another wonderful set up for the retreat. To let everybody know my leg does not hurt.It does not look pretty but I have no pain.Slept until 8:00.Some body call me to check on me.Hope to see everybody again next year.

As all have figured out, I respond to most anything. Just keep it civil.

She has chosen, as an adult, by her first name, Jetta. I named her at birth and called her Lee Ann. Her name is Jetta Lee Ann Brand Barcus
Oops! Didn't see this explanation! I'm sorry, Jetta, for calling you other than what you prefer! :0

My oldest I called by his middle name, till he got in college and they officially called him by his first name. Now he goes by either, he can tell how long you have known him by what name you call him!!
I had a cousin I called "anything" and wrote to him (snail mail) forever with that name!
I had a long name that I used until 2009. I shortened it to Mel for many reasons. 1-I lost my husband, my church, a lot of friends and 67 lb all in one year. 2-Biblical people get a new name when their lives are steered in a different direction. 3-One friend telling me off for the name and one set of family harassing me (still) over the name made me hate the old name with a passion. So, I'm Mel. I'll call you John Jacob Jingle Heimer Smith if you want me to :P

If someone calls me 'Michele',
Hahaha! I didn't know it was. I do alternate between Shelley and Pirate, but...the other doesn't fit :P
