when I submit my two weeks' notice TOMORROW

?? Is this the official Retiring?  Moving to San Angelo?  If so, congratulations.  If not, what are you going to do next?    Two of Marion's very best friends have ended up in San Angelo so she visits there pretty regularly.

Judy, thank you so much for being my secret sister this year! You did an amazing job of finding thrifty little treasures for me. I wore my kitty slippers today, they’re so comfortable! I didn’t have any slippers here in the city so they were much appreciated.

You truly spoiled me, and the mug rug is just so beautiful. I really got to looking at it today and I’m amazed at the beautiful stitching.

That said, I was truly caught off guard by how sneaky you were! In fact, if I were Shelley I’d be casting a suspicious eye in your direction… LOL

You are most welcome.  When I read your likes/dislikes I thought...  no treats, no sugar, no food stuffs, no fragrances, no lotions etc I thought WHAT am I going to give this gal!?!?!?  She doesn't make things easy.  So I had to get a bit creative.  The magazine I got at a thrift store some time ago but thought you might enjoy since it showed quilters more local to your area.  Whew!  One down!  I heard your comment on the subject of kind felt bad about having to put so many restrictions...  I almost blurted out to you, "Yathink!?!?!!!"  But it was fun and I enjoyed thinking of you.  I just blew it by pre wrapping everything in the same lavender tissue.  Dang...  if you just hadn't caught be with the last couple on top of my work area!

I'm glad you are enjoying your slippers.  If you get a chance to send me a photo of the pin cushion I'd appreciate it.

Linda.... I hope you bring it back next year!

I hope Linda brings her wool/cotton project back next year too.  I'm sure it will be fabulous with stitching embellishments!

You were a terrific SS!  Thanks for my candy and the sunflower goodies.  The thimble is just lovely, the dishcloth is the kind I use all the time and the red wool cardinal is so cheery.  He won't get put away with Christmas to be sure.
