You sent me down a rabbit hole!  I went to see if there were any eclipse blocks in my orphan pile.  Well, the orphan pile was bigger than I thought.  No eclipse blocks.

But I've been trying to finish some panels in a creative way, so I put all the orphan blocks on my design wall.  Now to see if I can use any of them for a border.  I love an offset panel.  Some of them may work for that.  I have 2 blocks that I don't know what happened.  They were probably one of the disappearing blocks and I decided it was easier to remake the block.  Not even sure I know what to do to fix them but may use them anyway as humility blocks.  We shall see......

They really do look cute and are so easy to make!

I went on a roll, making a whole bunch of them.  I didn't need them; they were just too cute to make!   I had a passing through to sell them on Etsy but then I looked at the competition.  EVERYONE and their dog was offering them.  The prices were ridiculously low (wouldn't even cover the cost of fabric) to what might cover expenses and a modest profit (but then who would PAY that much??).

I eventually decided that mine weren't any different nor substantially better than what was being offered so I never put them up.

It's a good hole to go down.  Was needed and may help me with some panel finishes.

Do you want the 2 pieces cut to the same size?

If Suze is doing it the way I think she is, you cut one piece 6 inches bigger, and when you sew and flip, the corners miter.

I would do some of those also if you have lots of flannel!

I will try to get some photos uploaded to my computer, but here is one.  I just entered this one into AQG.  It is an original design of mine.
