Thanks for the link to the video.  It now makes sense to me.   I'll have to try it.

I have several panels packaged with some fabrics that seem to coordinate.  Don't know if I will actually make kits with the pieces cut yet. I probably have a dozen.  I'm sure they won't all get done but there will be choices.  I like to offset the panel and do some pinwheels, 4 patches, etc . one one side or the top and bottom if it is a wide panel.  More interesting than "slab o" borders".

Hard to go home and leave your newborn behind.  Also hard to see them with medical equipment attached.  Do they live close to you?

She's beautiful, Judy.  She's just beautiful.    Puppies have lots of energy.  Rest up!  You will love having the company.   Maggie talks to us by making noises or non-verbally.  We just love her.

, I need to start thinking about the challenge door hanger. is there a basic size we are to use?   Can it be square? I have something from the past in mind, but not sure if I can find it…can I do applique?  Does it have to be quilted or can I just turn edge it?  Or maybe even a finished raw edge?

Size from 4x10 to 5x19.  yes it can be square, round, curvy.  You are the designer.relaxed  yes applique, 3-D, quilted or not, birthed or raw edge.  All are OK.  did I mention the you are the designer?wink

I've been thinking about mine.  Just have to decide which way to go.

Carolyn, please note this post in message 4.  Thanks.

Carried I believe, but I think it moved in the overhead compartment. Broke a chunk of the motherboard off. It was a $600 machine (bought in 2001 I believe) and this was the first year I came, 2004. It cost $350 to repair...I was making $9 or $10/hr, so that was a LOT. I have not brought my own since.

I thought it was pretty cool

Hey, we all have our own styles. :D No shade here! I can't do some of the stuff you do. That's why I love quilting...so many things to see and admire and try!
