very exciting. just try to keep a sense of perspective on the process. You will have the advantage of being able to watch them closely and hopefully catch mistakes quickly. But know they will happen (speaking as a former remodeling supervisor). Nothing is perfect and as long as you go into it with the attitude of being willing to compromise, you May come out of it with a bit of sanity and perhaps sense of humor. The subs are not intentionally trying to drive you crazy but it might seem that way at points.

What a satisfying milestone to achieve!
Having said that, you know from your previous remodel projects that it is two steps forward, one step backwards due to circumstances you had no idea even existed. But, simply persevere and it will get done!

Thanks so much for sharing from your your perspective. We entered this whole adventure with a sense of fun and enjoyment in the steps even though at times one of us has to remind the other to cheer up. We've bathed this journey of steps in prayer for guidance, wisdom and peace and often have had to look back at how far we have been able to come.

Everyone who went to school in my area loves the "school goulash" that they used to serve. It's one of the school lunch dishes that everyone agrees is pretty good. They also made a really good "cranberry crisp" bar thing. If you haven't already found a good goulash recipe, let me know and I will send you the school goulash recipe. It's hearty. LOL
