The local quilt show is this weekend!  I visited yesterday and was asked to take pictures for Cathy and Carrie who did not attend….lol!

but thought I’d share a few with my quilting buddies!  Enjoy!

first are some quilts that made me think of Sharon!  She would have loved these!  This first one has an Eye Spy  in the center of each block that is about 6” finished.   That’s a lotta pieces!

This one is a scrappy spider web!  Carrie gave me that accuquilt die.  Maybe I should cut up some scraps….hummmmm….

this one just has a bagillion pieces and was huge!   It was inspired by Bonnie Hunter and using scraps.

i was encouraged to see people are still doing things with dear Jane

This one isn’t Dear Jane blocks, but they are small!  And someone with quilting vision made it become a sight to enjoy!

Here are some quilts whose machine quilting was terrific!  You gals always impress me…l.

this one was quilted my a long time friend of mine!  What a lot of work, planning, and time went into this!

Those of you doing things with hexies!  These are for you….

This one is hexies!  And hexies with salvage scraps!  Lol!

This one starts with a solid fabric piece in the center.  Then a frame of hexies goes over the top of it!  Then you see a row of hexies joining them together!

Thanks for sharing, Ellen!  This demonstrates that you certainly don't need to go to a big, national show to see exceptional work.

No you don’t need to go to big shows….although ours if good size!   And Kathi should be posting her ribbon quilts here, but I know she is at the show today!
