I did exactly what you said and it still didn't work.
Sorry, I didn't get the instructions in the right order, let's try it again:
After logging in with the new passwod you received,
in Preferences, Password, type in that password again, then type in the one you want twice.
Upper or lower caps make no difference.
I don't immediately see anything causing problems.
That's all right; I tried it again and it did not work. The password was 11 characters long.
Can't quite see where there is a problem with changing passwords. If you like, PM or email me with details and I"ll take a closer look tomorrow.
Maybe if I got another Delphi password it might help.
You are not the first person lately to report a problem with this. Are you using Chrome or something else?
When you say it won't work, what exactly is not working?
I click on Change Password on the Preferences page and get this
I type in the password Delphi gave me and then my own password under New and Confirm. Once I hit Submit I get a confirmation that it changed.
At which point is it not working?
I am using Firefox because I can't log into Delphi through Chrome. It always says that I have a bad password.
After I type the new password in the second time; and click Submit; nothing happens.
You are not getting the confirmation? And if you log out it won't accept the New password you tried to change it to?
Let me try again with Firefox. If you are using an ad blocker you might need to disable it while you log in, or if you know how to disable it just for Delphi Forums, that's what I've done.
