First, Whitemare's RTE quit working on FF so I spent hours trying to figure that out.

So I switched to the Delphi Editor which was gave me fits on the copy and paste.

I finally got that squared away and now the pasting doesn't work again!

Someone obviously never heard the old adage:" If it ain't broke don't screw with it"!

Seems to be the latest version of FF plus whichever version of the CKeditor Delphi uses.

You can always go old school

and switch to source!
Just the basic html works fine if you don't mind a bit of extra work.

That was just my guess.... I still cannot find any online chatter regarding this elsewhere. Any progress from Tech?

 

**If anyone wants to poke it looks like we are using version 4.4.5.1 of the CKeditor.

I've tried various combinations:

1) Copy from Edge and Paste to Edge - OK
2) Copy from FF and Paste to Edge - OK
3) Copy from Edge and Paste to FF - NG
4) Copy from FF and Paste to FF - NG

Thus it looks like the pasting in FF seems to be where the problem is.

But as to whether it's Firefox or Delphi's Editor paste feature... I cannot say.

I am having the same problem with Family Sigs.

I am trying to copy and paste from Fotki. :(

I can not do it, and I have not been able to do it for over a week.

Posting images from elsewhere is different than the copy/paste text we're talking about here.

give us the url of  images at fotki to see what is happening ...

Actually, I can not because it is in my private folder.

I have always been able to do a copy and paste even from my private folders.

I only use Firefox. I do not like chrome or edge. So I will not use either one.

I see how it works from the public folder. The editor uses the address at fotki it doesn't make a copy. It wouldn't work for a private folder since each time someone looks at the message they have to look in that folder.  Being logged in at fotki  may make a difference?

I had been able to copy and paste even with my private folders. I guess that I will just have to wait for the next browser update in order for me to do a copy and paste again. :(

Maybe I could reach Firefox powers that be to see if they could expedite a fix.
